Description -	KARATE 5 EC is a wide spectrum insecticide containing lambda-cyhalothrin for control of insect pests of cotton and other crops including grasshoppers, locusts and army worm.

HOW TO USE KARATE -	KARATE® 5 EC is highly active (by contact and ingestion) against a wide range of insect pests - see table. KARATE® 5 EC can eliminate or reduce the acaricidal sprays needed in season if applied regularly, especially using high volume ground sprays. Dilute the amount indicated in the table below with clean water as shown, spray using any conventional equipment in good condition to give a medium quality spray.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS -	• Do not smoke, drink or eat while using this product. FOR SAFETY WHEN MIXING • Wear eye protection (at least glasses). Undiluted KARATE® 5EC can damage your eyes. If you get it in your eyes, wash it out at once. See First Aid. • Wear synthetic rubber gloves. Undiluted KARATE 5EC can irritate your skin. If you get it on your skin, wash it off at once. If you spill it on your clothes, change and wash them immediately. • After emptying container rinse three times manually adding insate to spray tank.
FOR SAFETY WHEN SPRAYING -	•As with all chemicals, avoid contact with the spray as much as you can. • When using mistblower, wear a mask covering nose and mouth. • To avoid harming fish, do not spray over water. • Dispose of unwanted spray solution by spraying off on waste ground.
FOR SAFETY AFTER SPRAYING -	• Dispose of empty rinsed container by crushing, cutting, then burning or burying. Do not use it again. • Do not dump unwanted KARATE 5 EC in water. • Keep unused KARATE 5 EC in this container, tightly closed, locked up out of reach of children and away from food. • Wash yourself. Change and wash your work clothes.
FIRST AID -	Eye splashes: Hold eyelids apart and pour in a gentle stream of water for 10-15 minutes. Go to a doctor. IF KARATE 5EC IS SWALLOWED do not make the person vomit. Take person, and this container, to a doctor at once for medical treatment. MEDICAL TREATMENT: If gastric lavage is performed, take care to prevent aspiration of gastric contents. Consider administration of activated charcoal and a laxative. Treat symptomatically.
Shelf life -	At least 2 years from date of manufacture in original sealed containers stored in a cool dry place.
